Optimise your health by reconnecting your breath & body.

Offering in-person, online, private and corporate yoga for all in & around Southampton.

As a physiotherapist, I also have a professional interest in providing yoga to those with a chronic respiratory disease or living with a long-term health condition.

In my Strength & Mobility Yoga and Mixed-Level Vinyasa Flow yoga classes, I work as a Yoga Teacher and not as a Physiotherapist. However, I use my background as a physiotherapist to inform my teaching approach.

Please take a look below at the yoga options available.

What are the benefits of yoga?

  • Improves strength
  • Improves flexibility
  • Improves cardiovascular fitness
  • Better breathing
  • Improves balance
  • Reduces stress and anxiety
  • Improves body awareness
  • Improves mental focus
  • Improves athletic performance

And what about chair yoga?

  • Can be taken fully from a chair or partially from a chair, with options for standing and mat based poses
  • All of the same great benefits of a mat based class but a little more accessible
  • Great for those with mobility difficulties or who struggle to get on and off the floor easily
  • Ideal for those with long-term health conditions
  • Ideal for people who experience fatigue or breathlessness on exertion, as it allows you exercise while also pacing yourself and lowering energy use.
  • Perfect for office and desk based workers
  • A good option if you have trouble weight bearing through your wrists or shoulders
  • If a mat-based class just isn’t for you
